Wanted..

Its a bird, its a plane.. its superman!... hark.. no its Wesley Gibson..! Who's that you ask? Its our hero the nerd, the accountant or just another boring face.. until he discovers that his he apparently possesses superhuman capabilities which he often mistook to be panic attacks.. and what better way to discover your 'hero' abilities than hearing it from the beautiful sexy and well a little anorexic Angelina Jolie.. a.k.a Fox, that too amidst a high profile car chase. Minutes before the chase Wesley is told that his long lost daddy dear was the greatest assassin on earth and one of his colleagues killed him .. out of apparent envy or something.. that does not matter though.. and now its up to Wesley to avenge his father's death.

As all superheros, Wesley also has to undergo some emotional and physical torture before becoming a man! And so we have a lot of beating up, toughening up..and repairing of the body and soul before he can become a killing machine.. Cliched you say? Well script writers were hired.. they had to put in some work! So the teeny weeny bit of originality in the movie is a 'different' way of firing a bullet.. a curved trajectory.. no you did not read wrong, it is what it is..a curved trajectory so that the assassins don't kill any innocent onlookers who happen to call hell on themselves by coming between the assassin and the target, neat.. but too hard to believe, but then again nothing about this movie is believable and you get that impression just 5 minutes into the movie! So if you are the kind that goes to the movie hall to search for logic, skip this one.

Not to mention that the assassins are a part of the fraternity that is built on the most ridiculous belief that weave of a cloth contains a binary code to a person's name and this name comes up by fate and the assassins have to follow the code and kill anyone who's name comes up.. It doesn't matter whether you know him or don't or if he proven guilty of anything at all..But 'fate' decided he should die and so it be!

Well I am not gonna go into the rest of the details of the plot, watch it for yourself , I will say this much though that there is a twist in the tale.. and its not too elaborately done, so it fails to create an impression.

The funny parts, that one can actually relate to in the movie are possibly the office scenes like when Wesley tries to search himself on Google and when it turns up no results he cries to himself and wishes he was really somebody..! Don't we all?
